    I think ZTE is also included.

    Android is open source, any app can include code to steal personal info. The phones can be easily rooted and key features turned on or off. Applies to all Android phones.

    those BLACKBERRY I used to use
    are looking mighty tempting.
    I still have two functional ones

    The Berry were secure alright....to the point if their system went down you were SOL until they fixed it. I was in Japan for work in early 2000s when my only practical means of communication with US office or anyone was the Berry and they were down for two whole days.
