A Good Day Of Shelling

    With somewhat rough surf from Maria, the shells have washed up better than normal. Wife and I took our usual walk on the beach at low tide on Saturday and Sunday. This is Saturday's collection. Sunday's was similar IMG_0685.JPG

    No. If I ever suspect that the critter is still in there I throw it back into the ocean.

    I do like my raw oysters and minion sauce or shallots and vinegar sauce like the Brits.

    Oh yeah, Mignonette sauce. My fav for oysters and clams as it's much lighter than traditional cocktail sauce and lets the fish shine.
